TMB2

In essence, the TMB2 is a a multi-axis lathe and a robust 5-axis machining center. It features an automatic tool changer that can hold up to 118 tools (30 tools standard). Further, the front turret holds up to 16 tools. The TMB2 is ideal for long, complex workpeices with up to 1.5” diameters, such as those produced in the medical, aviation, and automotive industries. In essence, the TMB2 is a a multi-axis lathe and a robust 5-axis machining center.

Other standard features include an high output 11/7.5 kW motor contributing to machining center-like heavy-duty milling on a wide range of materials. Because the motor is built-in, it provides speedy 2.5-second accel/decal rates – half the time of a conventional Swiss-turn. Users enjoy shorter cycle times and a constant torque range of 1 – 1500min-1, which is ideal for successful bar machining. Both the main and sub-spindle have full rotary C axes.
