Morris Midwest to Exhibit CNC Machinery at Wisconsin Manufacturing and Technology Show

August 12, 2015

The regional machine tool distributor will exhibit new technology in its 2400-square-foot display space at area’s largest metalworking and manufacturing show in October.

Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will display and demonstrate CNC machine tools from Okuma, Tsugami, and Hardinge Group in its 2400-square-foot anchor booth at the Wisconsin Manufacturing and Technology Show (WMTS), October 6-8 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin.  In addition to CNC machinery, the regional machine tool distributor supplies tooling, accessories, software and customer support services to manufacturers in Wisconsin and surrounding states.

“We look forward to participating in WMTS every other year,” states Corey B. Johnson, President of Morris Midwest.  “The regional manufacturing community actively participates in it and is always eager to learn about new technology.”

“We enjoy the opportunity to demonstrate some of the most cutting edge machinery in the industry while showcasing our company’s application engineering skills,” adds Andy Sharafinski, Sales Manager, Morris Midwest/Milwaukee.

This year, Morris Midwest plans to display and demonstrate a variety of CNC machinery, ranging from economical vertical machining centers and 2-axis lathes to high production horizontal machining centers and multifunction machines.  Visitors to Morris Midwest’s booth, number 713, can expect to see live cutting on a Tsugami Laser Swiss and view some of the powerful apps free from the Okuma APP Store for use on Okuma machines and the Okuma THINC ® -OSP control.
